My Approach to Teaching

I help my students develop a love of music that can last throughout their entire life while learning proper technique and theory. I help students set individual goals and then structure lessons to accomplish them.

Practicing can be hard for any student, but playing music you enjoy can help you stick with it. To inspire my students, I find or arrange music they both enjoy and that will help them progress. I’ve found that this not only motivates students but also adds an extra fun aspect to our lessons and their practices.

With over 15 years of experience teaching and training my students in many different styles of playing the harp, I am able to help my students reach their own personal goals with the harp. I also give them opportunities every year to perform at my semi-annul online or in-person music recitals.

Have your choice of either 30 minute, 45 minute, or 60 minute private lever or pedal harp lessons.

I strive to keep an open line of communication with my students and parents to make sure we are reaching their goals for learning the harp.

Online or In-Person Lessons

I offer both in-person lessons at my home-based studio in Rigby, Idaho and online lessons.
